We are heartbroken to share that a devastating fire in September 2023 caused significant damage to our resort, resulting in the temporary closure of our Restaurant and Bar. We anticipate these areas will remain closed for the rest of 2024 as we focus on rebuilding. Our Shop is currently open with limited supplies and merchandise.

Bear River Lake Resort is nestled at 6,000 foot elevation and is one of the first area resorts to open yearly. Bring your own boat, rent a fishing boat, canoe, kayak, or paddle boat and enjoy the day on the water. Water sports available are: fishing, kayaking, canoeing, when the lake is warm-swimming, and when the lake is full-water skiing. Dirt roads, dense mountains, fresh air, and our beautiful lake ensures that you will have a unique experience and a relaxing break from that hectic city life. Plus the poor cell phone receptions in the area ensures that our visitors can go undisturbed. Wifi is available. If they so choose, our restaurant, lounge, and hot showers offer welcome and enjoyable comforts.
